Whether you're recording a solo podcast, hosting multiple guests, bringing in remote callers or producing a professional livestream, the DLZ Creator gives you the tools to manage your production from one streamlined console.
Built for Podcasting, Streaming & Content Creation
The Mackie DLZ Creator has been developed to simplify professional audio production without sacrificing flexibility. Its combination of touchscreen operation and intelligent mixing features allows new users to get started quickly while still providing experienced creators with the control required for more advanced productions.
It's an excellent solution for:
• Podcast studios
• YouTube creators
• Livestreaming
• Online radio
• Interviews
• Video production
• Content creation
• Corporate broadcasts
• Churches and worship streaming
• Educational content
• Remote interviews
• Multi-person podcasts
Large 10.1-Inch Touchscreen
At the centre of the DLZ Creator is a large 10.1-inch adaptive touchscreen. Instead of navigating complicated layers of menus, important controls are presented clearly and conveniently, allowing you to concentrate on your guests and content rather than constantly adjusting technical settings.
The interface adapts to different workflows and experience levels, making the mixer approachable for beginners while retaining the flexibility experienced users expect from a professional digital mixer.
Mix Agent Setup Assistance
Getting microphone levels right is one of the most important parts of producing professional audio. The DLZ Creator's Mix Agent technology helps guide users through the initial setup process and assists with establishing appropriate gain levels.
This makes the DLZ Creator particularly useful for creators who want professional results without having extensive audio engineering experience.
4 Professional Onyx80 Microphone Preamps
The Mackie DLZ Creator features four Onyx80 microphone preamps designed to deliver clean, detailed microphone signals. Four combo inputs allow multiple microphones or compatible instruments to be connected simultaneously.
This makes the mixer ideal for podcasts involving a host and several guests, panel discussions, interviews and other multi-person productions.
AutoMix for Multiple Microphones
Managing several microphones manually during a conversation can be challenging. The DLZ Creator's AutoMix functionality helps manage the levels of connected microphones automatically, allowing conversations to remain clear and consistent as different participants speak.
This is especially valuable for:
• Multi-person podcasts
• Panel discussions
• Interviews
• Livestreams
• Corporate presentations
• Talk shows
• Educational broadcasts
It allows the host or producer to focus more attention on the conversation instead of constantly adjusting microphone levels.
Four Individual Headphone Mixes
Every participant may have different monitoring requirements. The Mackie DLZ Creator can provide up to four individual headphone mixes, allowing each host or guest to receive a personalised monitoring mix.
This is a major advantage for professional podcast studios and multi-person productions where individual monitoring control can significantly improve the recording experience.
Bluetooth Connectivity for Remote Guests
Need to bring a caller or remote guest into your production? Integrated Bluetooth connectivity makes it possible to connect compatible mobile devices wirelessly, providing a convenient option for incorporating remote conversations or external audio into your production.
This functionality makes the DLZ Creator an excellent choice for podcasts and broadcasts that regularly feature remote guests.
USB-C Audio Interface
The DLZ Creator includes an integrated USB-C audio interface, allowing it to connect directly to a compatible computer. This enables creators to send audio to recording software, streaming applications and other digital production platforms.
You can use the DLZ Creator as the central audio interface for your podcasting or livestreaming setup without necessarily requiring a separate external audio interface.
Multitrack Recording
The Mackie DLZ Creator provides flexible recording options for creators who want to capture individual channels for later editing. Multitrack recording gives you greater control during post-production because separate audio sources can be adjusted independently.
This is particularly useful when correcting individual microphone levels, applying processing or editing different speakers after the recording session.
Record Directly to microSD
Don't want to rely on a computer for every recording? The DLZ Creator includes a microSD card slot for convenient standalone multitrack recording.
Insert a compatible microSD card and capture your production directly from the mixer. This makes the system particularly useful for mobile recording, remote podcasting and situations where setting up a complete computer-based recording system isn't practical.
MicroSD card sold separately.
USB Flash Drive Recording
The DLZ Creator also supports compatible USB storage, providing another convenient option for recording your production. Having multiple recording methods gives content creators greater flexibility and provides useful alternatives when working in different environments.
Professional Podcast Studio Centrepiece
The DLZ Creator can serve as the central control point for an entire podcast production. Connect microphones, headphones, computers, mobile devices and external audio sources directly to the mixer and manage them from one streamlined interface.
This reduces the need for multiple separate pieces of equipment and helps keep your recording workspace organised.
